Official launch of Crown ministry in Croatia
Crown is officially stepping in Croatia by leading the first two large-scale conferences in Zagreb. The "Bible on Money" conference on 14th November 2008 is designed for everybody who is interested to learn what the Bible teaches on money, stewardship, debt, savings, integrity, etc. The second conference - "Bible on Business" - on 15th November is designed for business people.  Crown Ukraine is conducting a seminar on "Finances and the Bible" in Odessa on Saturday, 28th June 2008. It will take place in the Dom Kulturi Lesi Ukrainki (38 Zhukovskogo Str.) from 12:30 - 17:00. The two speakers will be Rustam Rachimkulov (Director for company Lardan) and Anatoliy Musiyenko (Director of Crown Ukraine).

During the past weekend (13-16 June, 2008) Peter Briscoe, Vice President for Europe, and Andrew Nedelchev, who has recently joined Crown as European Programme Director, made a trip to Zagreb, Croatia, as part of the preparation for the Crown catalytic events in November. Peter gave a presentation before a group of Evangelical pastors and another one before some representatives of the Catholic Charismatic movement there. He also spoke at another meeting, which was open for the general publi, as well as preach Sunday morning at the First Baptist Church in Zagreb.  Peter Briscoe speaking to pastors in Zagreb with the help of interpreter and national Crown coordinator Domagoj Malovic The "Biblical Financial Study" course, as well as several key books like "Your Money Counts" are right now being translated into Croation and will be ready before the official launch of the local ministry in November. |

Widow and Oil  Crown Financial Ministries has produced its first film, Widow and Oil, in association with The Erwin Brothers. Crown's CEO Chuck Bentley co-wrote the script and served as Executive Producer, bringing a dream to life to use film to teach biblical financial principles around the globe. Over 150 crew members, actors and volunteer extras worked tirelessly to bring this timeless story of God’s faithfulness to life. The film will be released in 2008, and other films are in the planning stage. Please join us in prayer that God will provide direction and open doors with funding for this effort. This powerful film, based upon II Kings 4:1-7, shows us the power of God in providing our needs through prayer, faith and in the call to pay back our debts.
